We are serious about it, too. We’ve set the most ambitious goal of any food waste solution globally - we want to reduce food waste for our clients by $1billion by 2025. We’ve recruited some seriously talented people across our six offices to help us achieve this target, and we’re always on the lookout for more ambitious individuals to add to our fast-growing team.
What Winnow do in the fight against food waste
On the product side, we have developed award winning, cutting-edge tools to scale in commercial kitchens all over the world.
In 2019, we launched our second product, Winnow Vision, a groundbreaking food waste management tool that uses artificial intelligence (AI) and computer vision to automatically identify waste food. This is the first time that AI has entered the kitchen environment at scale, and provides more accurate food waste data than humans can.
We’ve been featured on The BBC, Forbes, and CNN. In 2019 we were chosen by the Financial Times as one of the 78th fastest growing companies in Europe. In addition, we have won multiple awards including The Circulars award presented during the World Economic Forum in Davos.
